Celebrating a Supportive Hockey Community and the Women Who Make it Possible
By Schwan's Home Service, November 6, 2015
Through that partnership, for the last five years we’ve recognized deserving hockey moms across the state, who have gone above and beyond to make youth hockey a reality. At each Minnesota Wild home game, one hockey mom is awarded with a pair of tickets and a Schwan’s gift card, and her story is shared with the entire arena.
Last night was a big night. We recognized our 150th hockey mom — Becky Boldt of White Bear Lake, Minnesota. Becky was recognized for creating a nonprofit organization, Hockey Moms USA, which helps kids who can’t afford to play the sport.
“My mom is a hockey fanatic. She is very passionate about the game,” said Becky’s son, who nominated her for the honor.
Congratulations to Becky and all the other hockey moms!
